The UCV grave marker for Numa Delhomme of the 26th Louisiana Infantry in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Carencro, LA. The records place him, however, in the 1st Louisiana Heavy Artillery. He received a UCV marker even though he deserted his unit after the fall of Vicksburg.
